Golden Bay Fishings is positioned on the edge of Connemara, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The coast line, mountain scenery, blanket bogs, rivers and lakes are world renowned.

 

If fishing is not on your agenda then there are numerous other activities available on your doorstep:

  • Glassilaun Beach (pictured above), voted in top 10 of world beaches
  • Cunga Adventures Kayaking on Lough Corrib
  • Visit Inishturk an island just off the west coast. Bring your binoculars to see Peregrine Falcons, Puffins, Fulmars and Chough
  • Killary harbour cruise to see dolphins etc

  • Scuba Dive West diving club at Glassilaun Beach (from beginners to fully qualified)
