How to find us

The easiest way to get to the house is by air, flying directly into Knock airport (then a 50 minute drive to the house). We would suggest hiring a suitable vehicle.

Aer Lingus fly direct to Knock from Gatwick (London) , Ryanair from East Midlands airport, Liverpool, Luton, Stanstead, Glasgow and Bristol to Knock. Lufthansa also offers direct flights from Dusseldorf to Knock during the summer months as does Flybe from Edinburgh , Manchester & Birmingham direct to Knock. Occasional flights direct to Knock by Aer Lingus from New York & Boston and of course there are other regular direct flights into Shannon & Dublin from North America inc. Canada by new airlines such as 'Wow air' . BA & Aer Lingus serve Dublin / Shannon also .

Always try Knock airport (Knock Ireland West ) 'first' though as you're 'direct' destination airport because , by comparison with larger airports, it's such an easy ,no hassle airport to travel through.

For guests from Italy (Milan) , Spain (Alicante/Barcelona/Girona/Malaga, Portugal (Faro) , there are regular direct flights to Knock all served by Ryanair.

A helicopter pad can also be found at Ashford castle, 3 miles from the house.

Alternatively, If you prefer to drive, the sea crossing from Hollyhead (N.Wales) to Dublin takes only 90 minutes on the fast ferry. It is then a very easy 3 hour drive from Dublin on a new motorway (one of the few benefits of the Celtic tiger!). Alternatively there is crossing from Pembroke (S.Wales)on Irish ferries to Rosslare in County Wexford and an easy drive up the N80 connecting with the M6 to Galway. It takes approx 3 & 1/2 hours to drive to the lodge from Rosslare and 3 from Dublin . The ferry service from Stranraer (Scotland) to Belfast/Larne is also quick.
